We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Bolivar Team.
The Bolivar Program Supervisor will get to supervise the phenomenal staff of two homes, as well as plan for, manage, and supervise community residential services in Bolivar.
The Bolivar Program Supervisor functions as Qualified Developmentally Disabled Professional (QDDP) with the overall responsibility for the development, the implementation, the coordination and the evaluation of personal plans for the 9 individuals currently served in Bolivar. They also empower staff to serve our individuals by implementing and coordinating all developmental activities for the Bolivar consumers. Some of these activities might include:
- improving the self-help skills
- economic self-sufficiency
- leisure skills
- personal health
The work also involves overall responsibility for preparing employee work schedules, ensuring staff coverage, reporting and recording observations, circulating and implementing directives, and maintaining necessary records and reports.
The minimum experience required for this position includes:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with major specialization (24 semester hours) in elementary or secondary education, special education, early childhood education, psychology, social work, sociology, counseling, recreation, or other degrees in the Human Services field.
- And one year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorders, psychiatric disorders, and/or developmental disabilities. However, according to state and federal regulations five years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
